Interior Designer

Working with a client and an architect, an interior designer plans the layout and design of a space. They work with fabrics and furniture, and blue prints or floor plans. Interior designers are more technical than interior decorators, who design within a room. The interior designer will create the floor plan themselves and have a knowledge of electrical and architectural elements.
