Acoustical engineers solve problems involving sound and excess vibrations. They consult with architects and construction engineers about any issues related to noise such as sound proofing recording studios or minimizing the noise from highways, and air traffic. Acoustical engineers can also work in bioengineering to develop hearing aids and other medical devices.
