Electrician

Electricians install and repair electrical equipment, appliances and fixtures. They install and inspect wiring in developments while adhering to blueprints and building codes. They may respond to emergency situations by setting up floodlights and generators. Electricians may be required to work under extreme conditions and temperatures. The work is often physically demanding–digging trenches, working up on high wires and moving heavy objects.
