Animal Husbandry Worker
Animal husbandry is the agricultural practice of raising and breeding livestock that are used primarily as food or products sources. Also called simple husbandry, stock breeding or animal science, it has been practiced since the dawn of animal domestication. Farmers, ranchers, in fact anyone who cares for animals in large numbers is practicing animal husbandry. This can be the technician, animal trainer, veterinarian. Modern technology is used, for example, to enhance milk production in cows and in artificial breeding which is frequently used to help improve herd genetics.
