Environmental Engineer

Using advanced principles of biology, chemistry and environmental science, the environmental engineer works at the local level to solve environmental problems (i.e. pollution of water and air) in order to protect natural resources, wildlife and human life. They also work at the global level researching issues such as climate change. Environmental engineers work for architectural or engineering firms, or state and local governments.
