Wildlife Biologist
Wildlife Biologists observe and document animals in their natural habitat. They inventory plant life and study animal characteristics, evolution, vulnerabilities, distribution and migration. They work to understand the adverse effects of changing habitat and industry on animal life, disseminate information and make recommendations. They study the spread of bacteria or other microorganisms in order to control disease in animal populations. Wildlife Scientists work for the government, private industry or universities.
