Chemical Engineer

Chemical Engineers develop chemical processes using knowledge of chemistry and engineering principles. They are often involved in the research and development of new products. They work closely with product developers to test chemical compounds that come into contact with other materials to make products that are safe, functional and attractive. Chemical Engineers may also work in manufacturing plants, designing the layout of the plant, and working on machinery selection and calibration.
