Technical Writer

The job of a technical writer is to write in clear, easy-to-understand terms information on complex technical issues. They write instruction manuals, product documentation, articles or reports on current trends in science and engineering, press releases and promotional materials. Many work in the fields of science and technology but some work in non-technical fields such as the insurance industry or politics. They may work for book, magazine or newspaper companies, or they may be employed in other industries.
