Physical Therapist

Physical therapists treat people of all ages who have disabilities, illnesses or injuries which limit their ability to move. They devise and implement a treatment program that increases mobility, reduces pain and restores function. A physical therapist can work either in a hospital, clinic or private office. The job is physically demanding as the therapist often needs to support and lift the patient to help them stand or walk.
