Meteorologist
We rely on meteorologists daily who make predictions by studying atmospheric conditions and forces that shape weather. They closely observe data--collected from satellite, radar, remote sensors and weather stations--on the land, sea and upper atmosphere to forecast the weather. Some meteorologists work in research studying climate change, the atmosphere or developing instrumentation and models.
