Pharmacy Technician
Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the pharmacy technician fills a prescription received from a doctor or hospital. The pharmacy technician counts, pours, measures and weighs tablets and medications. He or she may also be responsible for office management tasks—preparing insurance claims, taking inventory, balancing cash register and answering phones.
